Children who need help with their reading and writing will have an opportunity to receive free tutoring at Siouxland Libraries this summer. The tutoring program is designed for children who have completed 1st through 5th grades. Children can receive up to eight hours of reading instruction with trained reading tutors - that's one hour per day, twice a week, for four weeks this summer.
Tutoring at the Ronning Branch will be held on Monday and Wednesday mornings, July 6 through 29, from 10 to 11 a.m. or 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
Registration is required. To register, visit the Oak Vew Branch, the Ronning Branch or the Main Branch children's desk. Sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call Youth Services at 367-8710.
